Is your distiller of good quality? Will it be easily damaged in transit?

  • You may notice that our distiller may be a little bit heavier than other companies'. That is because the copper materials that we used are more, the thickness of our distiller is greater. Therefore, the collision avoidance coefficient is higher. And We will also pack the items well before shipping to reduce unnecessary damage caused by collisions during transportation.

What is the working principle of the distiller to make hydrosol?

  • Using the distillation method, when the steam continuously passes through the petal, it will dissolve a large amount of nutrient-rich water-soluble components of the plant tissue. After passing through the collection tube and condensate bucket, the essential oil floating on the upper layer is collected, and the cooling liquid in the lower layer is the hydrosol.

Can I use dried material for distilling, or does fresh material really make a difference?

  • You can distill dried material if what you're after is the essential oil, but please make sure it is as freshly dried as possible. If you are after hydrosol, kindly use fresh material cause hydrosols produced from dried material are just not very good.

Can the hydrosol be directly used for skin care?

  • Yes. But before distilling, it is necessary to ensure that the distiller, flower material, and container for the hydrosol are clean or have been disinfected.

Do I need to clean and maintain the distiller?

  • Yes. Copper is easy to oxidize. We explain how to clean and maintain it in the instructions attached to the parcel.
